| Kirloskar Oil Engines Ltd. awared with the national record 2011 by Limca Book of Records |
Kirloskar Oil Engines limited achieved yet another momentous milestone when it was awarded the “National Record 2011” for having signed an in –time wage agreement for the sixth consecutive time since 1995 before the expiry of the previous agreement.
This landmark achievement of KOEL was recognized by Limca book of Records which is amongst the nation’s premier selecting and awarding bodies. The Limca Book of Records was first published in 1990 and can be rightly stated as the Indian version of the Guinness Book of World records.
This is a rare feat for any enterprise and our achievement is even more remarkable because we have not lost even a single man-day on account of labour unrest in the last 50 years. It is truly a remarkable achievement and there is no doubt that this achievements of ours will be spoken of for all time to come. The admiration of this accomplishment is felt by all of us within the organization. We are thankful to our union, Rashtriya Engineering Shramik Sangh for their whole hearted support and they are our equal partners in this award.
We are confident that this accomplishment of Kirloskar Oil Engines would be a model for other industries to emulate not only in India but also overseas.
